# Creating an assessment

A timed test, from questions already written. You will build a timed assessment from the HTT Educate question bank, and share it with a link.

## Step by step

### 1. Manage

Sign in, and choose Manage at the top. Your assessments are listed here. Press New assessment.

### 2. Title and timer

Give it a title. Choose who can take it — anyone with the link, only people with a password, or only those you invite — and how many minutes they get.

### 3. Create

Press Create assessment, and open it from the list.

### 4. Find questions

Search the question bank — a topic, or a few words — and press Add beside each question you want.

### 5. The paper

Added questions are listed in order, with their points. Move them up or down, change the points, or remove one.

### 6. Share it

At the top is the share link. Copy it, and send it to your class — on WhatsApp, in an HTT Chat room, or on your school’s notice board.
