Everything you must know before you start. Welcome to the Connector training. Watch it to the end, and take your time: everything in the Connector assessment comes from this training.
Step by step
1What HTT is
HTT is a family of platforms that share one account. HTT Schools runs a school. HTT Educate is past questions and practice. HTT Fun is learning games, and HTT Wallet holds money. One HTT account opens all of them. Most Connectors begin with HTT Schools, because a single school brings in many people at once.
2What a Connector does
A Connector is the person who brings someone into HTT. Think of yourself as a guide, not a salesperson. You introduce people and schools to something that genuinely helps them, you make sure they join through your link, and you help them get started well.
3The order
There is one order to becoming a Connector, and it cannot be changed. First, watch this training. Second, pass the Connector assessment. Third, and only then, pay the Network commitment fee. When the fee is paid you are certified, and your link is created. The fee cannot be paid before you pass. HTT Wallet refuses it. That is deliberate: nobody should pay before they have learned what they are paying for.
4The assessment
The assessment is strict on purpose. Every attempt is a new paper: the questions are drawn at random from a larger bank, in a different order, and the answers are shuffled each time. Memorising a sequence will not help you. Understanding will. You need eighty-five percent to pass, and if you do not pass, you can sit it again after twenty-four hours.
5The commitment fee
The Network commitment fee is paid once, after you pass. Your HTT Network page shows the amount in your own currency before you pay anything. It is a one-time fee, not a subscription.
6Your link
Your link is the most important thing you carry. Whoever creates their HTT account through your link is yours, permanently. If someone signs up without it, they belong to the organisation account for ever, and nobody can change it afterwards, not even HTT. So never leave it to later. Have the person open their account from your link while you are with them, or send it and watch them tap it.
7How HTT Schools is offered
Know exactly how HTT Schools is offered, because you will explain it many times. There are no packages: every school gets every module, small or large. There is no subscription. Each person who joins a school on HTT pays one commitment fee, once. In Nigeria that is six thousand five hundred naira; elsewhere it is set in the local currency. And the school itself is paid nineteen percent of every fee paid into it.
8How you are paid
Here is how you are paid. When someone you brought in pays a commitment fee, you are their Connector, and you receive nineteen percent of it. When the people they bring in pay, you receive twelve percent, as their Ambassador. One step further, you receive five percent, as their Leader. After that, the chain stops. These are not ranks. They describe your position on one particular person’s fee.
9A school example
An example. You bring in a school owner, who opens a school on HTT. On the owner’s own fee, you are the Connector: nineteen percent. Then the school’s parents, teachers and pupils join. The school is their Connector, and is paid nineteen percent of each of those fees. You are their Ambassador, so you receive twelve percent of each. That is why one school matters so much.
10When the money shows
Every share appears in your HTT account as it is earned, so you can always see exactly what you have been paid and why. A new share waits thirty days before it can be withdrawn.
11Never promise
Some things you must never promise. Never promise anyone how much they will earn, or how fast. The rate is fixed, but the speed depends on real people joining. Do not promise earnings from adverts: adverts are not running on HTT yet. And never promise a feature you are not sure of. Say: that is not something I can promise you, let me find out. That sentence has never lost anyone.
12Talking to a school
Now, talking to a school. There is no script to learn. You are introducing a product, so never talk about the Network or earnings in a school owner’s office. Begin by listening: ask how they keep attendance, how they know who has not paid, how they reach parents, and what takes the most time in their office. Then show only the two or three things that answer what they told you. Explain how HTT Schools is offered, and ask honestly whether it would help their school.
13The school video
You do not have to present alone. Your HTT Network page has a short video made for school owners: HTT Schools in brief. Play it for them on your phone or laptop, then talk about what they saw. It shows real screens, and it explains the offer accurately every time.
14After they join
After a school joins, help it start well: the school setup, classes, students, staff and fees. You do not need to know every screen. Every page of HTT Schools has a Watch how button that plays the video for that page, and every step is written out on HTT Understand. Your job is to know where the answers are.
15Inviting a Connector
Inviting someone to become a Connector is a different conversation, on a different day, never in a school owner’s office. Share the invitation video from your HTT Network page with your link. Be clear that they must learn, pass the assessment and only then pay, and never promise them an income.
16Official papers
Finally, papers. Only official documents may carry the company’s name, Housetops Technologies Limited, and they always carry its registration details. Never type your own letter, agreement or invoice. If a school asks for one, ask HTT for it.
17Summary
To sum up. Learn, pass, then pay. Your link is for ever, so never leave it to later. Every school gets every module, with one fee per person, once. You are paid nineteen, twelve and five percent. Never promise income. Listen before you show. When you are ready, open your HTT Network page and sit the Connector assessment.
