A password, and a code only your phone can make. You will see how your HTT account is protected, and where to change each part of it.
Step by step
1Sign-in and security
On your account page, find Sign-in and security. Your password and your codes are handled by HTT’s sign-in service — the platforms themselves never see them.
2Password
To set a new password, press Change next to Password. You confirm who you are first, then choose the new one.
3Two-step sign-in
Two-factor authentication is on for every HTT account. Each time you sign in, you also type a six-digit code from your authenticator — so a stolen password alone is not enough.
4Another authenticator
Press Add another to set up a second phone — useful if you share the work across two devices, or want a spare.
5HTT Auth
HTT Auth is our own app for those codes. It works offline, your codes never leave your device, and it is where password resets are approved. Press Open to go to it — the HTT Auth videos show it step by step.
6Email is optional
Your email address is optional. It is only for contacting you — it is not how you sign in, and you do not need it to get back into your account.
