Instalments for families, reminders that send themselves. You will see who owes fees and for how long, agree a payment plan with a family, and set up reminders that go out by themselves.
Step by step
1Switch it on
In Settings, under Modules, switch on Fee plans and reminders.
2Debtors
Open Fee plans and debtors. The tiles add up what is owed by how overdue it is. Press a tile to see only those families. The oldest debts are at the top, with the parent’s phone number.
3Export
Export gives you the whole list as a spreadsheet, for calls or a meeting.
4A plan
For a family who cannot pay at once, press Set up a plan. Choose how many instalments and when the first is due. The instalments always add up to the balance exactly.
5The plan
The plan is in Payment plans. Payments recorded on the invoice clear the oldest instalment first, so you never tick instalments by hand. The parents see the same schedule in the app.
6Reminders
In Reminders, choose when parents are reminded: a few days before each due date, on the day, and at set days after while it is unpaid. They go out every morning at eight, as a notification on the parent’s phone, which costs nothing.
7Send now
Press Send due reminders now to send today’s straight away. Each reminder is sent once, and the list on the right shows what went to whom.
