The right message, to the right people. You will post a notice to exactly the people who need it, and see how news and events reach your school website.
Step by step
1Notices and news
Choose Notices and news from the menu. There are three boards: the Notice board for day-to-day messages, News for what the school has been doing, and Events for what is coming up.
2Write something
On the Notice board, press Write something. Give it a short title, and write the message — bold, lists and links all work.
3Who is it for
Choose who it is for: everyone, teachers and staff, parents, students, or a single class. Only they see it, and only they are notified.
4Website, urgent, pinned
News and events can go on your public website too — this staff notice stays inside the school. Mark a notice urgent to show it first, or pin it to the top. And to send it later, set Publish at.
5Publish
Press Publish. It is on the board straight away, and the staff get a notification.
6Who sees it
Each post shows who sees it and when it went up, so you can always check what went to whom.
7Edit or delete
To change a post, press its edit button. Delete takes it down for everyone.
