Written, checked, then sent. You will write a message to parents, choose how it reaches them, and see who it goes to before anything is sent.
Step by step
1Communication
Choose Communication from the menu. Every message is written, then checked, then sent — so nothing goes out by accident.
2Write a message
Press Write a message. You can start from a saved template, or write from scratch: a short title and the message itself.
3Who and how urgent
Choose who it goes to — every guardian, the staff, the students, or one class — and how urgent it is.
4How it is delivered
Then choose how it is delivered. In the app is free and always on. Text message and WhatsApp reach every phone but cost money per message. Email and push notifications are free where they are set up.
5Save as draft
Press Save as draft. Nothing has been sent yet.
6Work out who
Press Work out who. HTT Schools lists exactly who will receive it, on which channel — so you can check before it goes.
7Send
When it is right, press Send. Open shows every delivery: who received it, who did not, and a Retry for anything that failed.
8Emergency
For something that cannot wait — the school closing early — Emergency sends at once on every channel, without the drafting step.
