A message on their phones, in seconds. You will send a notification to the phones of the people in your school who have installed its app.
Step by step
1Notifications
Choose Notifications from the menu. Everyone who has installed your school’s app, and allowed notifications, can receive them.
2Title and message
Keep it short — most notifications are read on a lock screen. A title of around forty characters shows in full on most phones.
3Who gets it
Choose who gets it: everyone, teachers and staff, parents, students, or one class. Nobody else is disturbed.
4Now or later
Leave Send at empty to send it at once. Or pick a time — here, tomorrow at eight in the morning — and it goes then, by itself.
5Schedule it
The button now says Schedule it. Press it, and the notification waits in the list until its time.
6Sent and queued
Sent and queued keeps every notification: what went, to whom, and when — and what is still waiting.
7Call it back
Until it goes, a scheduled notification can be called back. A notification sent now cannot — it is already on their phones.
