Every uniform and textbook, counted. You will keep the school store: what is in stock, what comes in and goes out, and selling to a pupil.
Step by step
1Store and inventory
Choose Store and inventory from the menu. Every item shows how many are in stock and its price.
2Add an item
Press Add item. Name it — sizes count as separate items — give it a category, a selling price if you sell it, and the number at which the store should warn you it is running low.
3Stock received
When a delivery arrives, press Received and enter how many came in. The count goes up, and the delivery is recorded.
4Stock issued
Items handed out without a sale — kit for a sports team, say — are recorded with Issue, with a note of where they went.
5Selling
To sell to a pupil, press Sell and find them. The sale can be paid at the counter, or added to the pupil’s fees so it appears on their bill.
6Counting and low stock
Count corrects the records after a stock-take, with the reason it differed. And when an item falls to its warning level, it is marked Low, so you reorder before it runs out.
