Every salary, worked out and on record. You will run the month’s payroll: salaries, statutory deductions, and a payslip for every member of staff.
Step by step
1Payroll
Choose Payroll from the menu.
2Statutory deductions
Switch on statutory payroll, and HTT Schools works out pension — eight percent from staff and ten percent from the school — the National Housing Fund, and PAYE under the Nigeria Tax Act 2025. Check the figures with your accountant before relying on them.
3Salaries
Salaries lists each member of staff’s monthly basic pay and allowances. A run takes everyone’s figures from here — change one and press Save beside it.
4Start the run
At the top, under Runs, choose the month and press Start run. A payslip is made for every member of staff with a salary. A month has one run — if it already exists, it simply opens.
5The totals
The run shows the gross pay, what reaches staff, and the pension and PAYE the school must remit.
6Payslips
Below, every payslip: gross pay, each deduction, and the net. Print gives you the payslips to hand out.
7Approve and pay
When the figures are right, Approve locks the run, and Mark paid records that salaries have gone out. Until it is approved, you can still correct it.
